Ned 2 is a six-axis robotic arm, specially developed for educational applications. The robot can reproduce the most advanced applications with a precision and repeatability of 0.5 mm. The aluminium structure makes the Ned2 robust and smooth, allowing it to perform the movements required for your robotics projects fluidly. This cobot utilises the capabilities of the Raspberry Pi 4, featuring a high-performance 64-bit ARM V8 processor, 2 GB RAM, and enhanced connectivity.

Ned 2 is a collaborative robot based on Ubuntu 18.04 and ROS (Robot Operating System) Melodic, an open-source solution created for robotics. Through ROS, Ned 2 has multiple libraries that allow you to create programmes, from the simplest to the most complex, which then respond in a flexible manner.


Plug & Play Educational Solution

The bundle is designed to be a plug-and-play solution, allowing you to set up your robotic ecosystem in less than 5 minutes. Simply unroll the vinyl mat on your desk, place the robot and its ecosystem in the indicated positions on the mat, and you're ready to go. You can immediately start working on various practical exercises with diverse learning scenarios.
